Megeve

Megeve is a Medieval town with cobbled streets that was developed into one of the most chic French ski resorts by Madame de Rothschild in the 60's.Quality shopping facilites and restaurants are abundant, with a poulation of 5,000 people there is no less than three Michelin star restaurants in the town or on the slopes. Megeve has over 300km of piste, in a gently rolling valley that is guaranteed to get any sun that is going, this in contrast to the steep, but dark Chamonix valley. From the Ladies Worldcup downhill run at cotes 2000 to the beautiful Mont d'Arbois ski area, there is variety of skiing to suit all abilities.

The "Avasion Mont Blanc" ski pass covers Megeve and surrounding area, If the well groomed and pituresque slopes of Megeve are not 'gnarly' enough for you, then a trip to Chamonix can be arranged.
